No. Your phone's location is only read at the moment you scan a site QR code to check in or out (or send a manual check-out). The app doesn't follow you in the background and can't see where you go the rest of the time.

Your name, the site, your check-in and check-out times, and how far you were from the site when you scanned, with a map link to that spot. If you use them, it also keeps the QA reports and photos you submit and the invoices you create. If a scan fails (for example you were too far from the site), the attempt is recorded so admins can see it. Wrong PIN entries aren't stored.

Records are kept in a private Google Sheet and Drive folder that only authorised people can open, and the app connects over an encrypted connection. Admin access needs a PIN of 6 digits or more. No system can promise to be 100% secure, so keep your PIN private (anyone who knows it can act as you) and tell an admin if you think it has been shared.

Hours records are kept so you can be paid and for the company's accounts. If you'd like to know exactly how long, or want something corrected, ask your admin.

The camera is used to scan the site QR code and to take QA photos. Location is used to confirm you're at the site when you scan. They're only used when you do those things.

Log in once with signal and your PIN will also work offline. Scan as normal and the app saves it on your phone, then sends it when you're back online. Open the page again once you have signal, within 24 hours. It is not recorded until it has sent.

Forgot to check in: scan the site code with Check Out selected and choose "I forgot to check in", then add your start time and reason. Forgot to check out: the app closes your shift at 23:00 and an admin will correct it. Those hours aren't counted on invoices until they have.

You choose your own rate for each day. Submitted invoices can be seen by admins, and you can download a PDF of each one from My Hours. If invoicing isn't switched on for you, ask your admin.

Yes, it works like an app. On Android (Chrome): tap the three dots, then "Install app" (or "Add to Home screen"). On iPhone (Safari): tap the Share button, then "Add to Home Screen". Open it once with signal first.
